A private homeowner asked Fluid Architecture to develop a scheme to replace their current home, which has now lapsed into a state of structural instability over the years. With a brief to design a five bedroom house to accommodate their large family, Fluid Architecture designed a house that gave our client a unique identity, similar to the quirkiness and idiosyncratic nature of the existing house. It is a house of it’s time that answers all of our client’s requirements and ultimately sympathetic to it’s neighbours, due mainly to it’s positioning on site and overall mass. This scheme is now with Planning for a pre-application appraisal and we are awaiting their feedback.
